How do I turn off restrictions on metered connection?
A metered connection is an Internet connection with a data limit. Mobile data connections are configured as metered connections by default. Wi-Fi and Ethernet connections can be configured as metered connections, but this is not the default setting. Some apps might work differently on metered connections to reduce your data usage. Additionally, some updates for Windows may not be installed automatically.
To turn off this feature:
- Select the wireless network > Properties > disable Set as Data Pricing Connection.
