My Samsung phone loses connection to eduroam very often
Starting with Android v9.0 (Pie) Samsung has a feature that automatically disables apps after 30 days causing Eduroam to stop working. To avoid this from happening, you can add the Clearpass Quickconnect app to an exception list.
(Note: the images may vary depending on android version and phone model)
On your phone, open "Settings", click "Battery and Device Care".
Click "Battery"
Then click "Background Usage Limits".
Click "Never sleeping apps".
Click + in the upper-right corner.
In the list of apps, look for "Clearpass QuickConnect", check it, and click "Add".
